i got the edo ai thru celga.com, 811s from someone here at superfuture and the sorahikos in ginza.

811s are slim fit whereas the sorahikos are relaxed. i could say it's a bit similar to a apc english w/o the bagginess. i'm most impressed w/ the edo ai's in terms of indigo used but not so much for its repro fit.

I recently tried on a pair of the Sorahiko in NYC. I was VERY impressed with the denim. Cool store as well. But on to the fit... it seemed like a semi-slim fit through the legs with a standard rise, maybe 11"? Someone correct me on that. The only thing I didn't like with them was that it produced a baggy ass. Just for measurements sake as well, I usually wear a 32" waist, and the 32 I tried on had a very nice snug fit.

apparently the cuts are vary from season to season. when i bought my sorahiko's a year ago, the guy let me try on two different pairs with different cuts, one was slim, one was baggier. that said, i don't have the baggy ass problem you mentioned with the slim pair i purchased.

It could have just been the pair I tried on, or it could be that I have no ass. Either way, it was barely noticeable and me just being very picky. I wouldn't let it stop me from ever buying the jeans if I had the money.
