What would you have done differently with your whole denim 'career'?

Would you have bought different jeans? Buy more? Buy less?

Less washes?

For me I would have cut out the whole 'cheap entry level denim' crap and go straight for the APC NS. Then probably splurge on some Japanese Denim.
