Balenciaga mens fw09 "scratched" denim jeans. Tag size 29

Grey, wax coated.

Taking inspiration from the ss04 Dior destroyed jeans, these are extremely rare and amazingly detailed - quality is easily on par with the older Dior denim (Bleu Clair, etc). The treatment is entirely handmade in Japan, only produced in very limited numbers, and each pair is unique.

Scratched details on front of legs with additional distressed patches on back side. Wax coating gives the denim a slightly stiff texture, and has more of a matte finish - not super-shiny.

Original retail price was $1345.

I ended up with 2 pairs of these, which is why I'm letting this pair go.

Condition is excellent - worn a few times, but pretty much good as new. Tags included.

The Balenciaga denim is based on the Dior 19cm, so the fit will be familiar. They're slightly slimmer in the leg than Dior 19cm, although not quite as tight as the 17.5 cut. (making for an ideal fit IMO). Closest comparison would be the Nicolas Andreas Taralis denim (also based on Dior 19cm).

This style runs small - equivalent to size 28 in other Balenciaga jeans styles, or a 28 in Diors... Shouldn't stretch out much either due to the wax coating.
