  2. Anyone going to be in Osaka on September 21st? Slash is releasing a tux at the Samurai shop, he's done these pairs in the past where he uses Samurai's denim and hardware. Would love a pair, I tried on some of the S2000HX (which I think use the same 15 oz. denim) but talked myself out of them. Here's a link to the Instagram post, and the Osaka shop has a few other posts referencing the previous releases.
  3. Looks like Red Wing is bringing back the Pecos boots in Hawthorne Muleskinner, been wanting some roper style boots lately so might give these a try. Seems like a more affordable option than the Lofgren Duke Ropers, which seem to be impossible to find in my size.

Perfect jeans. Who doesn’t love a 60s cut?
  7. I'll follow. Denime 10th anniversary 1952
  8. Hey, that’s exactly my size…. just saying 😛 that fit looks good though layered over a tee and the denim’s such a nice shade of blue! Looks really good with those jeans. Great pickup!

  10. I tested it out with a lint brush once and the black jeans picked up a ton more hair than any indigos I have. I have noticed that when you wash both, the black always have more static too.
  11. M11027 Shoulders: 42cm (listed as 44cm) Chest: 50cm (listed as 51cm) Sleeve from arm opening: 56cm (listed as 57cm) Back length: 52.5cm (listed 53cm) No size markings left on patch Single sided pocket tag - no text on back or mention of size Body and sleeve length are good but extra width would have been nice. At rest the shoulders are okay but I could use a few extra cm mobility-wise
  12. I don’t even have a pet right now but anyways, yes, I do find this to be the case. Always thought it was the visibility factor though as most black denim I’ve owned has actually tended to be more uniform and smooth.

  14. Could also be the contrast. Black/Black would lend more contrast to lighter things like dirt, pet hair, etc., as opposed to black/white or blue/white fabric itself having some variation in color. This probably helps obscure dirt and anything else on the surface since it's already visually broken up, but I could be wrong
  15. I have always wanted to do a minitruck build inspired by denim. Natural leather for upholstery, ages with wear. Denim for the door cards. Contrast stitching. Copper steering wheel and shift nob. Maybe a deep metallic indigo blue paint with white rims and red brake calipers.
  16. Does anyone else find black denim (as in black/black, non-fade) a magnet to pet hairs? Not talking about visibility either. All my black denim is like velcro to our dog; yet indigo, very much less noticeable. I was thinking it was more down to the fact that most of my indigo denim gets worn way more than my black denim thus, dirt, grime and wear makes the denim smoother and less susceptible to the hair clinging on but pure speculation.

60s jeans (one-washed) with probably ~6-8 months’ worth of total wear. I picked these up in 2019 but totally miscalculated the rise at the time, and really only started wearing them the last year now that they fit me better. I love the watch pocket “lightning bolt” that I remember @501XX4EVER pointing out about 1960s Levi’s.
  18. On the contrary, I’m getting them hemmed. They fit great but the length is too long based on that last fit pic. Probably take an inch or two off the length.
  19. Another Ben Hur reference? (That movie has been on my mind since Double O's chariot races comment.) PS. Still running slow for me.

  21. Flat Head hickory stripe shirt, Hollows belt, Flat Head 3003xx jeans, Viberg Service Boots. The jeans are about 5 months of real wear time and just had their first wash since I started wearing them. Also, the yellow Porsche Cayman is my dad's car, and of course my MX73 Cressida is on the right.
  22. I’m not sure about the narrator’s “Studio Dee Artisan” pronunciation!
