I'm looking to find some cool art galleries going on around next week. I have a car, so it's not a problem, I just want to know what's good and what I should check out.

MOCA, LACMA, and the Getty Center are museums.

Here are some good galleries to check out:

Big ones:

Acme, part of the Mid Wilshire gallery complex. There are a few other adjacent galleries that are good and a few that stink. If the Kirsten Everberg show is still up at 1301EP upstairs from Acme you should have a look.

Lace

Gagosian. The big guns show here.

Smaller galleries that are good:

Sandroni Rey @ 2762 S. La Cienega Blvd plus a few more around it.

Sister Gallery, some more across from Chung King

Galleries across from the brewery in Santa Monica.

There are many more. I'll try to post some more later.
