New York in 3 Days... HELP??

Hey guys!

I haven't been on here in a while and I lost my password so here I am in a brand new account.

I'm from Toronto and this Thursday I'm heading out to New York City for 3 1/2 days. What are the best things for me to see? I enjoy shopping, especially denim. Are there any good denim shops out there? Also, any good record stores if anyone knows...

Art gallaries, musiums, great places to eat, etc. I have nothing planned yet and I've never been so I'm excited but I feel like I'll be overwhelmed with all the things there are to do so I wanna get a rough list of things I want to get done so I know where I'm headed.

For records/music, it depends exactly what you want:

-Other Music and Kims are great for new CD stuff -- everything from electronic to hiphop to indie rock to weirdo jazz and reissues

-For Vinyl, I think NY is waaayy overpriced, but there are some good specialy shops:

Jammyland for dub/reggae

A-1 Records for hiphop/funk/jazz/disco

The Sound Library for the same

Beat Street in Brooklyn for new hip-hop/R&B/

For jeans, i'm not too up on it, but Nom de Guerre is a new-ish spot with cool stuff.

Definitely check out the new MoMA, if only for the new building.

By the way... I forgot to mention, I know NY has ALOT of sneaker stores... I'm looking for some nice original shoes, Nike Dunk STYLE but not nessesarily dunks... I'm kinda sick of them.
