Saint Laurent Classic 2cm Belt in Black Calf-skin Leather

 

The product ID is 314623 BOR0N 1000, and the size is 85. This belt is from the permanent collection and it features the classic geometric buckle used on many other Saint Laurent belts, such as the studded belts.

Please note that while the belt is listed under womenswear on the YSL website, it’s actually unisex (all markings inside the belt are such that the belt should be worn buckled to the left, the correct side for men), and is sold in the men’s department in all stores, and on several other online stores such as Mr Porter. YSL only have it listed on the womenswear section because they still have some large sizes left in the Spring and Summer 2013 version that they have listed in the menswear section (314623 BOF0N 1000).

 

This belt is completely unworn, and comes with the authenticity card. It has been tried on only once or twice, and so there's just a very slight sign of wear as a result.  This is only on the second smallest hole, which is the correct hole for size 29 jeans, and I’ve included photos to show it.

 

I’ve also included pictures of the Autumn and Winter 2013 version because it’s very similar, however the runway version featured an aged looking tarnished buckle, rather than the high shine buckle. The runway version however, never went into production.

Saint Laurent Spring and Summer 2014 Western Buckle Belt in Calf-skin Leather

 

The product ID is 346571 BOR0Y 1000, and the size is 85cm. The belt features a really nicely engraved metal buckle, catcher, and tip, and as with all Saint Laurent men’s skinny belts, the strap is 2cm wide.Retail price was £215, but it’s no longer available. The belt featured heavily in the Spring and Summer 2014 runway show, where it was worn by practically every model. This belt has been very popular; It actually sold out in size 85 both online, and in the London stores, in the first week of January. I absolutely love this belt, and am only selling it because I ended up with two (I pre-ordered from the store, but it appeared online first so I bought one online in case it didn’t come into the store, then when it arrived in store I felt like I had to buy it because I’d pre-ordered it).

 

This belt also comes with the authenticity card and has never been used. However it has been tried on a lot with different outfits, and so looks like it has been used somewhat (again only on the second hole, the correct hole for size 29 jeans). I’ve included pictures to show this.

Saint Laurent Autumn and Winter 2013 Heather Grey Ruched Pocket T Shirt

 

The product ID is 331485 Y2BL 1500 and the size is medium. I bought this t shirt from the Bond Street store, and the retail price was £170. It is far superior to the other version that was offered online (product ID 331166 Y2BD 11403; this version: http://www.ysl.com/gb/shop-product/men/ready-to-wear-t-shirt-and-jersey-classic-short-sleeve-pocket-t-shirt-in-heather-grey-cotton-jersey_cod37547308ld.html ). The online, cheaper £145 version, is made from a basic flat cotton jersey in a lighter shade of grey, whereas this version is a kind of aged textured cotton with a slightly looser knit, in a slightly darker shade of grey.

The fit of the t shirt is very 1950s looking, with a hip length boxy fit through the body and shoulders, with slim fitting, slightly high short sleeves. Even though it has a boxy fit, it is still quite fitted and looks great paired with the skinny jeans, and this colour looks particularly good with both the black and  the bleached jeans.

 

The ruching on the pocket is created by inserting some elastic on the inside of the pocket, which the pocket has been ruched and sewn to. There is also the signature double pleat at the back neckline, which serves the purpose of both being decorative, and making the neck a bit slimmer, preventing it from hanging down at the back as some t shirts do.

 

Measurements for the t shirt are length from base of collar to hem at the back – 64cm, shoulder seam to shoulder seam – 43.5cm, and arm pit to arm pit – 52cm.

 

This t shirt is brand new and has tags still attached (I included a photo showing where the tags are attached). I’m only selling it because I want some money for some big purchases I plan on making next season, and this is one of the few items I have that is in brand new condition suitable for sale.

 

I’m looking for £110 shipped for this because it is in perfect condition, and is something that I really like (I’d rather keep it than sell for less).

Saint Laurent Spring and Summer 2014 Bleached Jeans

 

The product ID is 344157 YM18R 4104 and the size is 29. These were featured both on the runway and in the advertisement campaign, and the colour is a really stunning bleached blue. There were actually two versions of the bleached jeans; there was the version that I’m selling, which is made from 98% cotton and 2% elastane and that retailed for £340 (this one: http://www.ysl.com/gb/shop-product/men/ready-to-wear-denim-trousers-original-low-waisted-skinny-jean-in-bleached-blue-stretch-denim_cod36502494cx.html ), and there was another version, that was made from 99% cotton and 1% elastane, that retailed for £255 (this other version was available on luisaviaroma.com and the product ID is 344157 YM26R 4104).

 

Both versions were very nice and both featured on the runway. I actually tried to buy the cheaper £255 version first from Luisaviaroma.com, because the more expensive ones had sold out in stores and online. However, the distressing process for behind the knee had resulted in the knees being so stretched out that there was an excess of material flapping about below the knee, and they were completely un-wearable in my opinion. I actually ordered 3 pairs from luisaviaroma to try and get one that was wearable, but none were because of the knee problem, so I decided to try and track down one of the more expensive 2% elastane ones which don’t have this problem because of the greater stretch (they were sold out in stores and online, but I found them on a French website).

 

I think the reason that this pair cost so much more than the others, is that the cutting is slightly different; the thighs are actually cut slightly looser than normal to allow the jeans to be pulled up a little higher, the way they were shown on the runway. Additionally, for some reason the baked in creases show up more on this version, whereas the 1% elastane version looked much flatter where the baked in creases were. I’ve included a picture of the jeans in the light to show the creasing effect which is really nice.

 

Measurements for the jeans when laid flat are waist 15.5 inches, inseam 33 inches, and hem 16cm.

 

Since retail was £340 for these and they sold out very quickly in smaller sizes, I’d like retail price less 40% on these (that’s YSL’s own store sale price). They are completely brand new with tags still attached so I think that’s fair. So £205 including shipping on these.

Used Dior Homme Made in Japan 19cm Black Raw Denim Jeans with Tags

 

The item code for these is 003D002A0184 – 906 and the size is 31. The cut is the more popular 19cm cut, and they are the superior made in Japan model. These were bought spring and summer 2010, and have been lightly used quite a bit, as well as washed a couple of times. However, they are still in great condition with years of wear left in them.

 

These started out as black raw denim, but have faded nicely due to wear and washing. The colour of the jeans now resembles that of the black clawmark jeans (that is they are more grey than black), but with less artificial looking fading.

 

Measurements for the jeans when laid flat are waist 16 inches, inseam 35.5 inches, and hem 17.5 cm (please note these have never been altered in any way, the difference in measurements between these and brand new pairs is due to shrinking from washing).

Saint Laurent Paris Autumn and Winter 2013 Raw Indigo Low Waisted Skinny Jeans Brand New With Tags

 

The style ID for the jeans is 327138 Y999B 4140 and the size is 29. These are the blue version of the black skinny jeans from AW13 that were worn by practically every model on the runway.

Saint Laurent Paris Blake 30 Cropped Jodhpur Boots From Spring and Summer 2014

 

Style ID is 344077 AQS00 1000 and the size is 44. The boots are brand new in the box, however I added a thin rubber sole to the bottom for protection intending to wear them until I managed to get hold of my true size 44.5 from the online store. They have only been tried on indoors, but since my downstairs flooring is polished concrete, a little of the black colour from the heel has worn off. The leather is also a little creased from having been tried on several times which is to be expected. I have taken all these points into consideration for the pricing though.

 

These are pretty much sold out everywhere, and are in my opinion far nicer than the new London 20 version. The London 20 version has a much thinner and less substantial sole, has a little bit of a gap at the front between ankle and shoe which doesn’t look good, and is made from an inferior leather to that used on these (leather code is the same - AQS00, but they are clearly different leather if you compare the two). The London 20 is nice, and I have a pair myself in 44.5 because I like the cropped jodhpur style so much, but these are far nicer in my opinion.

 

They also work particularly well with the black skinny jeans cropped up above the shoe to show the detail, the same as how the cropped duckies boots were shown in the SS14 runway show. They are also very popular, and nearly all the staff at the London stores have them, and tell me that customers often buy two pairs because they like the style so much.

Saint Laurent Paris Autumn and Winter 2013 Pleated Yves Collar Shirt in Black Cotton Poplin Brand New With Tags

 

Style ID for the shirt is 323949 Y616B 1000 and the size is 39 collar (which equates to a medium / 48). The shirt is brand new with tags, however the part of the tag that has the style ID on was ripped off by the sales assistant when he was entering the sale onto the system (staff often do this for some reason).

Note as can be seen in the photos, the shirt is a little creased from being tried on, this happens from simply being tried on once because of the type of fabric. The shirt is 100% brand new. Saint Laurent Paris Autumn and Winter 2014 Black Cashmere Crewneck Sweater Brand New With Tags

 

Style ID is 353838 Y1FJ1 1000 and the size is medium.  This is a really nice sweater and I’m only selling it because I bought two. This one is made in Italy and is far better than the made in Scotland one from SS13 which the online store has (style ID 313286 Y1QFG 1000). I have one of those too actually, but it’s used so can’t really sell it. The SS13 version is thinner, shorter, not as luxurious feeling, and not as well cut as the later version (however the improvements are also reflected in the price; the SS13 one is 560 GBP, while this new one from AW14 retails for 790 GBP).

 

This sweater looks really great with all black, and I wear mine often with black cropped jeans and black cropped jodhpur boots. The shape of the raglan seam is a particularly nice detail and looks great on. I actually like all of the items that I’m selling at the moment, but I have to say that this is my favourite out of all of them.

 

With regards to sizing, it will fit you if you take 48 / M / 39 in SLP jackets, t shirts, and shirts respectively.

 

Measurements are arm pit to arm pit 20 inches, length from base of collar to hem at back 25 inches, and waist band 16.25 inches.

 

Since I paid a lot of money for it (790 GBP), I’m looking for 350 GBP shipped for this one.
