Chainstitching in Tokyo

I'm here in Tokyo right now trying to get a pair of my jeans chainstitched.

Unfortunately, all of the shops I've been to so far don't chainstitch jeans that aren't bought at their store (they say the reason is because they're already too backed up)

I even tried asking them to chainstitch my jeans after buying another pair at their store, but they said they would only chainstitch the pair that I bought. I also offered to pay for the service, and they still said no.

Mind you, I've only been to the shops in Ueno so far. All the shops are closed right now because of the new year, but I can only assume that other shops in other areas of Tokyo have the same policy.

Does anyone know anywhere in Tokyo I should take my jeans to get them chainstitched?

yea, it's really fucked up... some taylors have chainstitch in japan... I ended getting mine done at a taylor

how much does it cost at bears?

or go to americaya 2nd floor i think 1500 yen or somthing
