How To Start Shop ?

Hi everyone,

I am not sure if this would be the right place to ask a few denim biz questions. Anyway, I would be glad to get some constructive suggestions, ideas.

I am based in Asia, and am planning to establish a denim shop which will be stocked mainly of premium denim brands. As i am just beginning this biz, with first only opening one store ( with plenty more in mind), how do i go about to get hold of these premium jeans at biz prices at best.

I guess, if i were to contact the respective premium denim companies directly, they might not attend to me, as of the low volume. The volume will surely be low, for the first shop, which is to stock multiple brands.

Any suggestions pls ?

what brands do you need? for jap companies they will need to talk to you directly what country?

I would be needing the LA brands and some jap. I guess i will not be looking for sole agency. I believe i should be looking for parallel exports, correct me if i am wrong.

The countries, which i would like to start a shop is in China, Indonesia and Malaysia.

I donno about the rest of you, but this guy sounds like a joke to me...

first off.... what's your idea of Premium denim brands?? give us a summary of ur idea of "premium"
