26 days in Singapore? Jesus. Singapore is a hot, humid, miserable shit hole (a clean shit hole though). The only redeeming quality is the vast assortment of food, most of which is very inexpensive. Spend a few days wandering around the various hawker centers, eat 6 or 7 small meals a day (average cost is 3 to 4 USD per meal). Walk around ION Orchard (the newest mall), check out Surrender down the road. You should be done in about 3 days. After that, catch some cheap flights or other transportation the hell out of there (into Indonesia or Malaysia).

Singapore is basically slightly more expensive than other countries when it comes to brands like nudies, dior homme, common projects. Basically every brand u can thing of.

Haji Lane is worth the chance. Just slightly off central area - A small lane with small shops selling high end street wear.

Surrender - devonshire road. Visvim, Common Projects, Band of Outsiders, Head Porter, Gitman vintage, Neighborhood.

Cheaper alternative - Far East Plaza.

Clubs - U can try going to the popular(also cramped) Zouk or Butter Factory. With Live band - Timbre.

Geylang(a street) has quite a lot of famous eateries there. *may have hookers*

U can visit Esplanade - An Art and Music concert hall venue.

Vivocity - The largest mall in singapore.

The Singapore Flyer - ferris wheel...

3 days? You can be done with Singapore in a single day.

There're so many malls, but all of them basically have the same shitty brands, which you can probably get for cheaper where you're from.

Haji Lane is worth checking out, and so is Ann Siang Road. Many indie shops and more obscure stuff. There's this jazz bar at Bali Lane just next to Haji called BluJazz. Bands play there almost every night, jazz or otherwise.

If you're into clubs, zouk is the staple. Also check out Stereolab at Pan Pacific Hotel. Avoid Butter Factory if you want real music. The Overeasy bar just below that is decent though.

There's nothing worth checking out at Vivocity, largest mall in Singapore or not.

theres a 50% sale at Tang+Co (Level 3 at Tangs Orchard) stocking some nice labels like lad, johnlawrencesullivan, soe etc. its been going on for some time so it might end soon. you won't find anything else thats sufu-lated around orchard though. maybe queen's couture @ heeren, they might be carrying some sugar canes(saw a pair today) , aprils and etc.

if you're into jazz, you should check out Jazz @ Southbridge, i like their live jazz bands.

what on earth could have compelled you to take a 26 day vacation in singapore?

Sale ended quite some time already - June - Great Singapore Sale.

But 26 days in another foreign country seems abit too much. Maybe u can backpack to malaysia and thailand within these 26 days. U can really finish Singapore with 3 days honestly.. Most tourist dun stay more than 4 days in Singapore.

The Tang+Co end of season sale is still on, I just saw some Lad and JLS shit last week. But nothing really worth buying.

I think his intention is probably to travel around the region. It'll be extremely boring to stay all 26 days in Singapore alone.

I think the Singaporeans here sound far more enthusiastic about this 26-day vacation than the OP. Actually we love our country more than we'd admit to, amid the bashing.
