Wow, that's crazy, i wonder which company came out with that design first.

It's a really unique design which is very efficient where each piece acts as a spring towards the next piece once it's unlocked.

I want to know how often you guys actually need a wrench type tool like what Atwood makes.

pretty often actually

a couple days ago, on trash day, i completely took apart this standing mirror i was throwing away, using the prybaby as a screwdriver

and i use it as a bottle opener on the daily

if you carry a screwdriver, something like an atwood prybaby or atwrench is pretty key.

a use for an atwood that i haven't heretofore seen documented is as a burnisher; if you seal envelopes, or fold letters, or use tape... well, yeah, an atwood makes a good burnisher

PETE, that tritium fob is pretty sexy, it's much slimmer than most fobs I've seen.. Not that I need one, but where'd you get it, how much, any other colors, and all that beastery etc??

branespload, i got it from "merkava" via the cpf marketplace.

it's funny how you said that you didn't need it, cause i really don't need another one.... but i have this one coming my way soon:

^ very cool.. i don't find myself needing tritium locators in the dark though, i usually have one of many flashlights available wherever i am. :)

and thelaststarfighter don't worry about it.. people's edcs are bound to overlap (cricket, qmini, juice s2, skeletool, atwood, leatherman keyman, minigrip, moleskine, ezaa, etc...) so there's no point in having something "first" to be "cool" lol.. i coulda said well zomg ken and itch and i had crickets and i had a manager before u posted!!1one etc..

Any of you guys seen those fobs with maybe a 10 digit password on it that changes every minute? My mom has a few of those on her key chain for work, next level shit.
I had a few but stopped working the most boring jobs in the world. Also those pass cards that people have clipped to their belt. Really? It needs to hang there all day just so you can use it 5 times? Put your phone there too, and some pens, and a compass....

counldn't find a pic but the anarchist tool belt, which always holds up carhartt pants, has a flashlight, multitool, cell phone pouch (even though big business is rotten and technology makes you a slave), and a hip pouch filled with whatever else you need to be DIY.

fabric horse's belts are basically the bike version...

its like people that ALWAYS have a messenger bag but never really anything in it. people rocking these fabric horse belts at parties and shit, messenger bag on the dancefloor... i don't get it.

Hey, quick questions on the flashlights.

The thing that's holding me back from jumping on a Quark mini is that, from what I've read, I would need Lithium batteries for the AA and AAA version.

That shit's expensive as shit... Can they run on normal Duracell batteries? If they can, what's the power loss?

Also, I've read that some other flashlights can't handle the voltage output of a lithium battery. Do these lights have a lower light output?

And lastly, how accurate are the Lumens outputs for the Maratac AAA?

Low - 1.5 Lumens

High - 80 Lumens
