The only reason i'd question it is that the bags are made with the same ripstop material, and those i know are made in China. They could obviously have sourced the fabric and then sent it to alpha but my only question is why add the production cost?

all of Supreme's Alpha-made stuff has been made in either Vietnam (the 2005-ish stuff) or China (last couple years). The Alpha-made stuff always comes in an Alpha bag, like the Spring 08 striped parka and MA-1 jackets (both of which were made in China). Prior to starting to use Alpha around 2005 Supreme used to have all their jackets made by Spiewak (in Hong Kong or China).

yeah, the whole meaning of "made in xxx" is pretty fluid these days. for reference the corresponding language on the stussy alpha m-65 is "designed in the UK" but there's a small neck tag that says "made in china"

at any rate - the production of the jacket by alpha would carry a lot more meaning for me if it was related to one of their stock designs, rather than a supreme custom design. it may be coincidence that the ma-1 was great but the striped parka (and wool duffel) was crap but i'd tend to think not.

dude the wool duffel was f'ing awesome. the short fibers are kinda beat b/c it pills up but the construction and design are top notch.

i guess it's a difference of opinion - i never cotton onto supreme outerwear when it's a cheap version of something nice, their core strength is doing nicer versions of cheap stuff like military surplus.

i'm sure the supreme duffel was better than an h&m runway knockoff but pretty weak sauce compared to gloverall or even jack spade

eh, to each his own. mines held up strong after 3 NYC winters and i continue to get compliments on it. big fat chunky zipper, great pockets and the fit is spot on.

btw, rumors on "the other forum" are that hirst box t's will be dropping this season..

sagamore beanie is definatly the hottest hat this season that was shown in the preview. i definatly see jebbia goes up to mohegan

suede shoe if they are priced at the last price and are little more comfortable than the canvas ones is definatly a good look. I wore those canvas ones for a week in vegas and one night i couldnt even walk anymore thats how bad they were.

the MCMXX five panel is not that bad.

The Ronnetes, and 9 lives see you in hell are both a good look for the tshirts.
