San Fran / LA / San Diego end of June-> July

Landing in SF on the 27th of june, staying till the 29th, Renting a car and heading south, one night in Monterey. Next afternoon we get to LA, staying at the Standard Downtown till Friday the 3rd then off to San Diego till the 5th.

What to do? Where to eat? I've got some ideas but just to see what you've got.

San Diego County Fair at the Del Mar Fairgrounds if that's your kind of thing.

in downtown, check out Bottega Louie on 7th and Grand, Seventh Grand (whiskey bar on Grand), Cole's french dip on 6th and Main and Varnish bar behind it, and Wurstkuche for sausage on 3rd and Traction.

drive up to Malibu for a beach day! (Zuma beach is my fave)
