Does anyone know how much a pair of SD-103 costs at Denim Style in Bangkok? I am trying to decide whether to get a pair of Skulls in Singapore or the D'artisans in Thailand.

let me bring this back to the top for the useful info on this model for newbies

The waist circumference of Japanese jeans after wash is in 99% of the cases the same as tagged size, +/- 1cm. The glaring exceptions would be the Samurai S0500XX and all VXs that don't shrink to tag size, at least not from the first wash/soak. Sanforized jeans are often bigger than tag size as they are often made the same as unsanforized jeans(~2" bigger than tag size unwashed) and don't shrink a full 2".

Basically, you don't need to ask about sizing Japanese brands. Rule: shrinks to tag size, stretches to 2" bigger than tag size.
