Swaim Hutson founded Obedient Sons in 2002. After working in the industry in production and as a design assistant for many years, Swaim decided to experiment on his own. The menswear collection at that time lent itself to more of a casual heritage with tees, button-fronts and twill pants. Obedient Sons continued to grow and Swaim relocated the brand to New York to then re-launch the label in 2007 with new structure and Swaim's wife, Christina Hutson as design partner.

This piece is from the first incarnation of the line, which recently closed its doors due to their main investor not providing enough capital to keep it going - vintage and brand new all in one!
