Best place to stay at MAGIC?

Going to ASR next weekend, but the big one is MAGIC next month in Vegas. Where should i stay? Anyone know or maybe it doesn't really matter. I am looking for more the fashion crowd rather than which is cheaper.

Any good stories out there?

Stay at Hard Rock, that shit pops off. Three years ago I was there with my crew and we saw Mos Def way up close, and then bumped into him later. The last couple of years has been more tame. One one year we had to stay at the Sahara, but the puking in the cab(s) and the ladies at Spearmint Rhino made up for it.

the hard rock is dope, its always happening there. the rooms are sweet at the hotel @ mandalay bay (different from manadaly bay).

hard rock is a piece of shit..its just a bunhc of old guys looking for hot girls.. just suck it up and stay @ the belliago..there is no need to leave the grounds of that hotel.it has the best of everything..and the best hookers drink @ the bar on the main floor...they are amazing

stayed @ the hard rock once and hated it. didn't want to sleep in the beds.

mandalay bay is the only place i stay.

honestly..

i've been going to vegas about three times a year for the past eight years..

the place to stay is Bally's. why?

because it's somewhat affordable, it's the most central hotel in vegas, time from room to strip is less than 2 minutes (bellagio is more like 10, haha...), and it was renovated fairly recently so you're gonna get a clean modern room..

that's my advice.

A few people I know stayed in the venetian in August. Maybe they had a really expensive room, but their spot was DOPE

^ I agree. Paris (and even neighboring Bally's) are good places to stay. If you want to save a bit, Bally's and Paris connect making Bally's decent. Mandalay, Bellagio are obvious choices if you have the means. Haven't been to the WYNN yet though. NY NY is weak. Hardrock...yeah...like the above posted...Lots of Old doods (myself included) checking out the young ladies but definitley a fun place to stay. Haven't stayed at Palms. But I have witnessed that rediculous line of people waiting to get into rain. Its so NOT worth an 2 Hour+ wait!

also you should check out THEhotel at Mandalay Bay which is good because you don't have to walk an hour through a casino to get to your room.

Also if you want an off-strip experience try Green Valley Ranch. Never stayed there, but my friends who have love it.

Old guys looking for hot girls and hookers? I don't think the Hard Rock is the only joint in town with this demographic.

My vote is def. for either Mandalay or Venetian. Cannot go wrong.

Hard Rock is ok, but off the strip.

Wynn is terrible. And so is the Palms.

Ham sandwich on stale rye bread. Lots of mayo, easy on the ham.
