It sucks how the pants are sized 2.5" up in the waist from the tagged size..

work pants are much thinner/lighter. chinos are heavy duty. cut might be different too.

I think it is the other way around..

Chino Pant

All cotton twill chino pant...

Work Pant

All cotton heavy twill work pant..

It is hilarious that people are eating up those work pants in my opinion. I have to wear work pants at work(I am a labourer in a NYC building) and the ones released by Supreme in the green colorway are a mirror copy of the ones my job gives me supplied through Domestic Uniform. You know the workwear trend has gone over board when Supreme releases work pants and kids eat them up. I can't wait to laugh at someone wearing them. Just my 2 cents

Dickies work pants are a classic.

Dickies work pants are cheap as hell.

Dickies work pants come in many colors.

Dickies work pants are Quality and Durable.

Dickies work pants. For people that aren't jackasses.

If you follow that logic, why buy anything Supreme makes?

Why buy a Supreme M-65 when you could buy a cheaper army surplus M-65? Why buy a Supreme oxford when you could buy a cheaperOld Navy oxford? Why buy a Supreme cap when you could buy a cheaper NY Hat co. cap? I could go on.

All of their gear is a copy of/inspired by other gear, but if you've ever worn any of Supreme's stuff you know that it's not as though they just slapped their logo on some generic, mediocre-quality garment. Yes, you're paying for the Supreme name and relative exclusivity, but you're also paying for a quality piece of clothing

And for what it's worth, Dickies are made of a poly/cotton blend that does not breathe.

woah. shocked that parka sold out.

must have something to do with aron wearing it in that shoot.

hopefully mine comes through!!

i got on right at 11 cause i got to sit at my desk waiting for it to open, and the tan/red was sold out. i guess the few they had available were gone yesterday. it was the only thing i wanted to get, but ended up with a classic five pannel and a lou reed that i'll sell to cover the shipping on the five pannel. white medium if anyone wants it. before you offer anything, please keep in mind that you've never heard a lou reed song and three weeks ago, you would have laughed at the thought of wearing a t-shirt with him on it.

they are always hit or miss with those confirmation emails

sometimes i have gotten them right after i order, other times none at all and sometimes a few days after i have already recieved that stuff

i got three emails from them within 5 minutes of my oder. two confirmations and one shipping. i guess they're making up for all those other times when a box just shows up at my door a week after i place my order without hearing from them at all

along with the breathability issues, does dickies make a slim style like the jawns this season?

well i receieved one of my orders and i got the classic 5 panel and i have to say i am dissapointed.

supreme needs to lay off the snapbacks they are getting oversaturated i think. bring back the flexfits.

for all those that send hate rep about flexfits obviolsy do not own the Supreme NY Giants flexfit collab hats. I was lucky enough to get 2 of them. which are in my top 5 favorite supreme hats.

some more thoughts after a follow up visit to the store:

not too impressed with the fabric they used for all their shirts - i don't mind that it's thin but it's coarse like some zara / h&m shit. the flannels look awful

the 5 pocket twill pants were pretty crap. i went to uniqlo and got 2 pairs of colored skinny jawns for half the price - sorted. work pants were pretty garbage too.

the denim hats are kind of dope but there's an execution flaw in the seam between the two front panels that causes dimpling at the top front crest

verified that the snap plackets are not cyc... which explains why they're 20% cheaper then the first gen (but won't sell any better because they look like civvies sailor jack would wear on shore leave)

the work jacket is kind of under-the-radar-nice (esp since it costs 110something) but i'm sure you can get something cheaper/more authentic from dickies/carhartt/filson/red wing/some other work brand worn by twentysomethings whose hands have been soft their entire lives. because wearing the supreme equivalent would make you look like a trust fund kid whose parents are paying for your apartment in brooklyn/les, right? (note that i didn't try it on so it's possible it is, in fact, crap)

the ventile is still the best jacket but i'm bummed that they didn't keep the supreme branded buttons. and the mesh detail is laughable

stockwise these appear to be gone at least for the moment:

red ventile

khaki camo camp cap (say that ten times fast)

lou reed (though there was a hole in the t-shirt display so they are probably restocking regularly)

camera pouches (same)

most of the heather athletics (one on display)

tan work plaid shirt

maybe the box logo fitteds (i really can't remember)

Since i have been getting some PM's + people seem interested to know..

Here are the measurements, along with a fit pic..

Supreme S/S '09 Work Pants (Brown, Size 30)

Waist- 15.5"

Front Rise - 10.6"

Back Rise - 13.9"

Knee - 9.5"

Leg Opening - 8.0"

Inseam - 30"

Being that the waist is 1 inch larger (at least on my pair, the website states 2.5 inches larger), you most likely need a belt to hold these up..really the only downside.

I haven't gotten a shipping number yet. I've been having some CC problems lately and wondering if I got denied. Do they send an e-mail if your CC bounces? Or am I just paranoid because they usually ship in a day or two.
