maison Martin Margiela NYC

I stole this.

many of you may have heard rumors that there was going to be a maison Martin Margiela store opening here in New York. well i have heard from good sources that the store is now officially open. the only problem is that nobody knows exactly where it is. apparently that's just how they do things. the store is open for business however they don't tell anyone that they've opened or where they're located. i do know that it's somewhere in the west village.

Admittedly I know nothing of Margiela's lines other than passing them by at Barneys. Their website isn't much help either. It has never caught my interest to look at the pieces but if this is really the case it peaks my interest to at least go and check it out.

Margiela rocks! Not too bling like yohji, dior homme, and helmut lang. Together with Neil Barrett, they are probably my favorite designer(s).

I heard about this too. I'm guessing it might be somewhere hidden near the Westside highway or totally in the center of all the touristy area but like on a building upstairs.
