SSH'ing scares me... last time i tried it my phone went into sleep mode while i was changing the name of a file... tried to put it back on and it wouldnt get off the pineapple logo.

as far as free apps that cost money from the app store, you can find .IPA files online, they open right up in itunes and can be synced through it, although you have to do a few things first. on Asphalt i just got the Ferrari 599, i'm like 3 or 4 cars from the Enzo

dev team blog says not to update to it just yet... so hold off.

never update your jailbroken phone when there's a new firmware out until the dev team releases an updated jailbreak. installing 2.2 wont break your phone, but all your non-apple apps will be gone.
