i do like the pocket stitching, i think it looks great from the side profile. however, the backpockets are really big, but that is just a minor complaint.

guffer - your raw dukes are 34s, right? what do they measure across the waist? (i'm having a hell of a time deciding between the 32s and 34s... lots of contradictory info out there...)

my raw dukes arrived today, i am really impressed, the fit isnot too much different to the black wash except for the longer leg.

waist= 30.5"

inseam= 36"

front rise= 25cm

leg opening = 19 cm

sorry about the inconsistant colour in the pics, they are taken under a skylight the middle one is closest to the colour.

edit: actually the colour is somewher between the graycast of the middle and the daeker blue of the third pic

keep em long! those bunches will make really awesome creases. my RR greycasts were long like that and they have some cool fading at the bottom cuz i left em long

yes they are. these are the measurements i got from info for the 32 and 34 before i ordered. i wont measure mine because the waist has stretched and the leg shrunk 2" in the drier!...

has anybody removed the pocket stitching on the black washed dukes? would it leave a mark where the stitching was?

i'd like a pair but the stitching is a bit much for my tastes.

i have never thought about it. Looking at the stitches now i do not think there would be a mark underneath and they would probably be smaller holes than if you were to remove levis stitching.

do not take my word for it ... not totally sure

the style of stitch on my washed dukes is totally different than the raw dukes

INFO told me when i got them that the earlier jeans, had hand stiched pocket detailing, it looks to me like you would be able to remove it [though it would be a shame since someone did it by hand]

on my raw dukes [from this season it is a crazy v stitch like Denim R said, it would be very hard to remove.

Also, to anyone else, what waist size would you recommend I get if I wear a 31W for my RRDS? I read through this entire thread, but I kept getting mixed info. I like to wear my jeans pretty much like the picture shown above. Thanks!
