Edwin problem.

I have a pair of Edwin ed-47. They are a straight cut but the denim is very stiff...and the jeans havent molded very well from the knees and down. So they look almost like a bootcut and I dont like it. So i was thinking of soaking just the lower legs of the jeans. How should i do to lose as much starch as possible? I was thinking a few hours soak in hot water?

I think you should just wait it out. The jeans will eventually break in. If you are going to soak the jeans soak the entire jeans.

your probably right...i dont want a weird color on them. Is there maybe some other way to remove the starch?

Soak in cold water for a few hours. Change the water several times. That will remove a fair amount of starch.

Is it possible to soak just the "calves" of the jeans? Or will i get a weird color change in that area?

You shouldn;t get much if any discoloring, but it will start to wearl slightly differently where it is de-starched. what i would recomend is soaking the jewans in their entirety and then restarching the areas you want
