Dior Homme FW08 Ranger Hoody/Scarf

I've noticed the Robin Hood/Medieval Monk/Tlotr Ranger-look got populair among designers these days. I saw hooded scarfs by: Ann D, Rick Owens, Diesel, D&G, and Dior Homme. Now in particular the Dior Homme scarf-thing has drawn my attention. I know i'd totally wear this thing if i had the money to buy and digg the ranger/tlotr-look as well. What are your opinions about this item and also the whole rangerlook.

I suppose it's cool if you can pull it off without looking like an obscure mix between Robin Hood and cunt... sorry, count Dracula. I find the price tag on the Dior homo one is rather outrageous tho.
