not dead

those look so sick. the black and white ones are good too but i already have black/white shoes.

also man, skater shoes look pretty damn good too, for sneakers.

nike and all just keep repoducing old types like Suedes, Dunks, AF1, etc. Its cool theyre keeping it classic but the new types of shoes just.. dont look so appealing. I personally dont dig Air Max serious cause they look too ridiculous heh.

And Zoom TREs are the best! the very first one (red on bottom, white overall, black nike swoosh, dark green suede inside) btw if anyone knows where i can buy em... plz tell. i want another pair ><

I have been an avid Jordan collector for years. The recent "hype" surrounding sneakers I think has hurt more than helped. The companies mainly Jordan Brand, have seen how big this shit has got and like any good business, supplied the demand. Thought its good for JB, not so good for the consumer (me). They are releasing bullshit in every color in the rainbow and quality has suffered. All of these fusion this, collabs and shit is ridiculous. So the answer to your question is it dead? Yes and No. Yes bc its a bunch of shitty sneakers on the market with crazy price points, and No because the real collectors will always be in search of older and better quality shit. Good thing I don't buy that many Jordans anymore as I'm getting older and trying to evolve my style to more "premium sneakers", and trying to distance myself from the adolescent look, without forgetting about where I started (Jordans), I'll always have fresh pairs in the rotation.

Yes. everyone switched to flip flops, sandals, gladiator shoes.

I'd enjoy the gladiator sandal trend more if every time two people wearing them met each other on the street they had to fight to the death.

I don't think its dead, people just bore.

Too many collab, too many reproduct, too many hype, no new design, no new fresh idea.

I love sneakers and I still wear it, but i'm not buying any new stuffs for a while.

Well in london foot patrol has gone, size? and offspring usually have the same things that DSM drop as supposed exclusives, and it looked like (when walking past) Stussy that you could pick up a pair of the boneyards blazers no probs.

As long as nike continue to flood the market with garbage and do collabos which are supposedly limited (DQM dunk springs to mind - sure its in 3 unique colours, but the A/W nike range has all suede perf dunk hi's... so whats teh point of coppin the dqms in teh first place?) Also it doesnt help that their quality is as s*** as ever.
