actually no, there is tons of information on sewing and hemming if you decide to do it yourself, and even more on tailors if you dont, much more than i alone know. but if youre gonna be a dick about it ill do my best to answer

i would recommend against a home job because regardless of what you cut them with, to hem them requires an industrial strength sewing machine which i am betting you dont have. or if you wanna go through like 30 needles (this is all assuming you know how to sew already) then i guess just give it a go on whatever machine you have. if your jeans are chainstitched or you want that then that is also impossible at home, and you also likely dont have the same threads if you went about making this post

all in all the amount of time to learn what to do and purchase all the equipment for a one time job is much harder than taking them to a reputable tailor
