I recently bought jeans from ktothe. It's been around 3 weeks and I still haven't receive the jeans yet. I PM'ed him a few times but only got one reply saying he'll keep me posted. A week later, I still haven't receive the jeans nor a tracking number. I IM'ed him through AIM a few times and one day he finally answers, he says the jeans were sent back to him because he inverted my address. So he says he'll ship it out the next day. Another week past, I still don't have a tracking number or my jeans. I PM'ed him and IM'ed him but he never replied. I understand that he's a respected member here but the communication is horrible. I've checked his previous sales and it doesn't look like he's the one to scam. I'm not calling him out or anything, but I was hoping he'll read this or someone that knows him personally can ask him to give me an update on the jeans.

probably not the right area to post this anyway, but I think it's best to get all of someone's potential means of contact before transactions so that you can exhaust every avenue before a thread like this. i know it seems like you mean no harm, but you are kind of calling him out before knowing exactly what's up. shit happens, circumstances alter cases, choose your cliche, but i would figure there is a simple explanation/solution.

doubt someone known pretty well on here would fuck over another user who could post damaging shit and fuck up future transactions.

its not that simple.

last time he faked resolution steps for months while remaining active as a poster. he would exchange emails talking about shipping problems, promises to refund, etc. in the end he saved face in the eyes of anybody who didn't follow the whole thing though just by being empathetic, but it was all an act. hes a shark.

not sure if this vouches for anything but ive met ktothe in real life and the guy doesnt seem like he would have any ill intentioned ideas of scamming.

the problems he's had sounds genuinely common. I've had plenty of transaction problems, who the fuck hasnt but not everyone makes their own thread calling someone a scammer.

Just wondering why you didn't post the envelope with the inverted address, and return address on it, as well as the stamp regarding the date that it was suppose to be returned to sender. Anyone can put a pair of jeans on an envelope and say they sent them out to save face. I don't know you personally man, and tons of people vouche that you are a good dude but I'm skeptical about this one. Maybe you should double check addresses before writing it on the envelope or use the 'Print Label' function on paypal.
