DIESEL STATUS?

I USED TO LOVE THEIR STUFF. they had that creepy mascot guy, crazy displays, loads of good stuff.

now, i went in a store, its all pastel and boring.

Now my tastes and knowledge have changed a lot, so is it just me, or does diesel suck compared to two years ago?

So did they totally kill Diesel Style Lab, How is the 55 DSL doing? I think Triple 5 Soul ripped off 55 DSL.

basically when j. lindeberg left the company went south. diesel style lab is gone I believe, which is very sad. their jeans were killer, because the difference was in the details. i still wear a pair of DSL to this day.

a few things:

1. yes, diesel has totally gone south in terms of design. but this happened four years ago about, not recently..

2. style lab still exists in their flagship stores

3. triple 5 soul totally ripped off 55dsl

It's like real trendy to rip Diesel. It's like ripping the Yankees or any other big organization that is on top of the game. Sure, they might have fallen off, but they still make some good denim. Seems to me that they are showing a bit more restraint in terms of the styles and finishes of their jean -- which is a good thing.

last year their designs were a bit more far adn out and unrealistic int erms of wash designs, their newer things are much simpler and pastel

Seen some previews of next seasons designs.. their whole concept is changing.. bit more pret-a-porter, nice looking jeans and better washes !!!
