I built a trading post then under the "bargain hunter" section choose to offer resources. Then other people's offers show up and you can sell to them.

You need a dock and a ship first.

I have no clue what a good price for the resources are though so I might be giving this guy a really good deal or something. I sold for 15 gold per grape branch.
