My parents apparently were persuaded to put 100K into alternative energy after their friend made 10K on a 400k investment. Their asses got fried when one company tanked.

I wish I had heard about united before they put a hold on it that day it tanked. I made some dough off of DAL awhile back when something similar happened.

20% of the refineries and virtually 100% of the gulf oil production is at a stand still and the price of oil is down today. who would have thought? I guess the refineries are going to be sitting on a pile of crude, while output of gasoline is scarce driving the price up.
