when i buy stogies near home or cant afford the nats though its usually good ol marlboro reds or american spirits (turquoise box)

the classic davidoffs are really good too but aesthetically speaking

if i have time to go to the nat sherman store, theyre only $10 w/ tax (regular nyc cigarette price), but if i go to any random cigar shop theyre anywhere from $10-$12.50

theyre quite good though, id strongly suggest trying them. you wont smoke as much cause theyre that satisfying

I say just tell her and then continue on with the experiment. At your age (assuming you are over 18) you're wise enough to decide this kind of thing for yourself so she'll have to accept it as your choice.

I told my parents when I was 16. They certainly don't condone it/fund it but there really isn't much they can do to stop it and they realize that I'm stubborn enough to just pick it up once I'm legally allowed to buy it if they try to stop me.

Which, don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be presumptuous enough to assume I understand in any way how your mother-son relationship is structured differently vis-à-vis the relationship and tacit understanding I have with my own mother but, all things taken into consideration, yeah I am no way in hell clueing her into the fact that I smoke regardless of whether I'm 25, like I am now, or 60 and she's gumming her way through a bowl of xi fan.

I will, in fact, go to incredible, excruciatingly silly lengths (even if she suspects already, which I suspect she does) to make sure that we never, ever have to have this conversation in this lifetime.
