I got this wallet from Corter. Amazing construction; seriously, the guy does a great job. No wear and has not been tanned or oiled.

what material is the blue part made of, suede?

The blue is the same as the natural on the rest of the wallet but it is died blue to match the indigo marks that will happen from jeans.

No, it will stick out of your pocket which, is kinda the point. The grommet/ring sticks out of the pocket so you can us a chain or rope without it ripping or wearing down your pockets.
