dry and selvage are two different things. Dry refers to a non-washed demin. Selvage refers to the way the demin was made. So you can have dry demin that aren't selvage, dry demin that ARE selvage, washed demin that aren't selvage, and then washed demin that are.

Where in austin did you get those from?

The Factory's People had them originally.

They didnt want them due to the "style"

said they were to western, so they sent them off to buffalo exchange ( resell clothing store )

i went there cus my cousin wanted to see whats good and what not,

so i stopped by, one of the workers were rocking evisu's and spotted mine and told me about these edwins that just came in from factory people.

ironically i was just at the store before i went to buffalo and he introduced me to the edwins.

no matter the style, i loved how they looked so i bought em.

so if my jeans arnt selvage, there dry?

im guessing selvage, dry denim, etc can have the effect of sandblasting etc?

but over how long of a period of time?

sorry im such a n000bbbbb

mmmm I guess I didn't do a good job of explaining. Here is the dictionary definition of selvage:

sel·vage also sel·vedge Audio pronunciation of "selvage" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (slvj)

n.

1.

1. The edge of a fabric that is woven so that it will not fray or ravel.

2. An ornamental fringe at either end of an Oriental rug.

2. The edge plate of a lock that has a slot for a bolt.

If something is selvage it doesn't mean that it's dry. As I said before... dry just means unwashed.

Ahhh... Buffalo Exchange. Makes sense because I don't remember anything being that cheap from the Factory People. Cheapest jeans were the APCs which sold for like 130 something.
