College Rejection Letters

Just got my rejection email - yes, email - from University of Chicago.

So far, I've been rejected from there, and University of Texas. I've gotten in to St. Johns, with 17k scholarship, SMU with 10k, and University of Washington. Still waiting on a bunch, but not much that I think is likely.

uuuuhggg, I too, am waiting on some kind of letter from UT for graduate mechanical engineering. Probably a rejection. Who waits this long to send out acceptance letters for fall semester?

I fucking hate that school. 10% rule left me bitter. I was super lazy in highschool, but I'm IB full diploma, with a 2250 SAT, and I got rejected. Lame.

All those rejected from the Univ of Chicago for undergrad should consider themselves lucky. It's a great school for graduate education -- or if you're serious about living a purely academic life in undergrad -- but you will miss out on a lot of the social, political, and diversionary aspects that make your undergrad an important and memorable experience.
