Watched Dead Set last night... the pacing was kind of off, but good, authentic feel to the zombies even though they were fast zombies.

Ending was cool, I like when shit hits the fan and ends badly.

recently saw [rec] for the first time and i thought it was just kinda ok

this afternoon i watched City of the Living Dead and it fucking ruled

i love Fulci

i feel like i'd seen it before though, like, clips of it, in some documentary or other

so much potential here. They seem be sticking to the core of the story, i don't care if they switch up things here and there.

I wasn't impressed at all with the pilot though, boring really, it had no mood to it. The cinematography seemed really mediocre.

Fingers crossed that it picks up.

My only complains were slow pacing and the fact that a lot of the feel of the hospital seemed ripped off from 28 Days Later. Most pilots aren't very good anyway, by their own nature they are often self-defeating in that they have to explain so much, but intrigue enough people to keep watching.

I think it will get better.
