damn i was hoping the oxfords would come out a little later... more money gone this month. i think there's a blue one too, right?

just get the uniqlo ones... 30 bucks, great fit. unless you're some kind of tiny collar freak.

are the current plaids being referenced a tartan-style plaid?

btw what the hell is all this "button up" shirt crap? they're "button down" shirts. where's will safire when you need him?

yeah, i grabbed some of the uniqlo shirts too... but i'm a sucker for the red tag (5)

fit's about the same as last season's tartan plaids, pretty small. i got a small, it fits slim and i don't think i'm gonna dry it.

whoever was talkin about the stock was a little misinformed. they don't have some sizes, but not because they've sold out. they have not gotten the entire run yet, only some sizes in some colors. stock of the s/s oxfords will be full next week.

a button up shirt is a shirt with a button placket.

A button down shirt is a shirt with a collar that buttons down.

this second part doesn't make any sense, shirts with specific collars are specified as such (i.e. i've never heard of a spread shirt or pointed shirt). r&s is probably correct - it sounds like a regional variation. it's just weird because i never heard anyone calling it "button up" until this forum. at any rate, google hits about 3x more for button down so that confirms that i'm right and all of you are wrong. :D

nah, Made in USA using cheap imported Chinese labor

fixed for you.

dunno about those plaid shirts, this season's starting to bum me out. also they should start a separate line a la margiela 14 for their repro gear - supreme diffusion line = next level sh*t

Okay fellas,

A recent car accident put me $6k in the hole and as a student, I'm scraping by.

I'll be stopping by Supreme NYC on 3-29-08 to do a collective pick up. There may be another one in the future, but nothing is set for now.

As per Supreme customs, I can't buy more than one of the same item. (i.e. No two waist bags, no two new eras of the color, etc)

To make it worth my while, I'll be charging a flat fee of $50 for orders up to $250. Exemptions from this rule is for small things like one keychain. The buyer will pay Retail + Applicable NY taxes (8.38% on everything except clothing) + shipping rate ($5 for smaller orders, $10 for bigger, some special cases apply) + $50.

The $50 will cover my traveling expenses which is $20, my time (approx. 3 hours round trip via train and subway), and my effort of organizing this.

If I get more than 5 different orders, shipping will be included in the $50 fee (for domestic orders). I'll refund your shipping when I get back.

I need full payment before 2:30 AM Eastern on 3-29-08

That means night of the 28th is safest for those of you with thick skulls.

If I dont have your paypal, that means your order is cancelled. I can't deal with people flaking out on me.

If an item is out of stock, you will be refunded in full for that item. If your whole order is out of stock, you will be refunded minus $10. (Unless, again, your item was super small.) If you want to be sure your goods will be there, call up Supreme & ask if it's in stock and if so how it's looking. The NY number is: 212-966-7799

I will keep an active list of items that someone else has already asked me to pick up.

PM Me if you're interested using this form PER ITEM

the clerks at Supreme NYC hate resellers. why? cuz they are jealous.

resellers make alot more in a season than the staff at Supreme.

they know it and they hate it. if they get caught reselling they get fired.

that much i know from a friend on the staff at Union in NY.

He also said that for the most part the clerks at Supreme use friends to sell for them so they can make some resale $$ like the folks they are negging at the counter.

my guess is that you make more working at Starbucks. and that's not including tips. no wonder they act like helping customers is the biggest chore imaginable.

*only NYC exception is the tall blonde skinny dude who is actually very helpful and friendly

you can cut it anyway you like but resellers are leeches and deserve no sympathy. they'll flip anything to make a profit, whether it's anya hindmarch, marc jacobs, bape or supreme. why should supreme staff cater to random resellers that are just going to move onto the next hyped thing? if it hurts your feelings so much, resell other stuff or get fox 5 to investigate the corruption in the streetwear industry.

seeing as how Supreme

1 - doesnt do mail order,

2 - doesnt sell to non-USA customers on their website

3 - has shops only on the coasts and across the Pacific

I would call the resellers their defacto distributors of Supreme.

They are picking up the slack for Supreme's inability/refusal/lack of desire to serve the customers who want Supreme but are at a distance from the shops and unable to use the web to order directly.

Supreme has created their own so-called -leeches through their business practice.

And last i checked, the resellers/leeches pay full price, are return customers, supporting the shop and paying the bills its oh-so-pleasant employees. Like everyone else. Which by most business' definition makes them good customers.

Welcome to the free market, Supreme Socialists.

it's an image, kid - figure it out. it wouldn't be new york or supreme if it didn't have that attitude. don't get your feelings hurt. also, i'm sure most cats would much rather be an actual employee at supreme new york than be a supreme new york reseller...my guess is you make more on wall street but that doesn't mean dudes have any desire to work there - make any sense to you? act like you know
