cheap flights between HK, japan and vietnam? / experiences with asiatravel.com?

I tried searching for previous discussions on this but wasn't really sure what to look for..

anyway, I'm heading to hong kong, japan and vietnam in a couple of months and I'm still in the process of looking for reasonably priced flights in between these. I know I can find some through travel agents and airlines but the prices vary a lot, some are pretty insane.

which seems to have flight at less than half the price of the airlines' own prices. anyone ever use this?

for the record I'd need to fly from HK to tokyo or osaka and back from the other city. I'd also need to get to vietnam from either HK or alternatively straight from japan, but I suspect most flight would go through HK anyways.

not sure about inter-asian travel rates but they're usually fairly priced.

It was much cheaper for me to take a boat from HK to macau, fly to bangkok, then fly to vietnam... than to fly direct from HK to vietnam by several hundred dollars. plus you'd get to stop in macau and bangkok if you have time.

Does this company work through air asia? If so my friend said he is planning to use them because the flights were a lot cheaper.

edit: i ran up everything and the taxes and gas only came up to like $70 of my charge for a roundtrip ticket. a steal, if you can find time to go.
