i was always under the impression that "where the buffalo roam" was the superior hunter s. thompson film.

Bill Murray is nowhere near as good at playing Hunter as Johnny Depp is. Depp lived with Thompson for a number of months before shooting the movie, to perfect his mannerisms and speech patterns, and it shows.
