Making my own jeans!

Alright everybody! After looking around at a lot of different DIY jeans threads, I finally decided to try it myself. First I bought a pattern for mens jeans from kwiksew. It contains patterns for both straight leg and bootcut. I then was able to buy some raw indigo selvedge denim from ebay. Its really nice. For 35 bucks, it can't be beat. It's 14 ounce sanforized. It's pretty dark. I really like it. I just cut the denim so I'll take some pictures of the newly cut parts. New updates will be added over time, of course, so check back to see if I've made any progress! Here are some pictures of the denim and pattern just to start off...

nice. keep us posted on how it goes. I remember my first pair was a pain in the ass. but then again, i didnt have a pattern to work with so it was a bit harder. b ut good luck.
