as for the shoes, i 2nd the guess that they're run-of-the-mill white plimsoles. love those shoes...cheaply made, fall apart, uncomfortable, absolutely fucking freezing in the winter...but they look fantastic.

Why are people such huge fans of this guy?

Is it the Hedi Slimane connection? He isnt doing anything countless british frontmen havent done since the late 70s. And he cant even do us all the favor of killing himself a la Sid or Ian.

As for his style, when he isnt dressed up by Hedi or Kate, he looks like a sloppy mix of chav and Manchester hooligan. At least Shane MacGowan and Shaun Ryder have talent to justify their fame, what the fuck does Doherty have.

I like Pete. He's really good with words. True talent. The fucked up guy is smart. Drugs just fucking got him. He was supposed to do poetry but music got in the way so yeah. He's not really a good singer or guitar player but he still fucking rocks. Babyshambles and the libertines kill.
