Two Laptops in hand luggage - problematic?

As the title says... I need both my work laptop and my ultraportable, and I'm not willing to put either into the suitcase that I check in. Will this be problematic at airport security?

in fact, it's a bad idea to put them in your check-in, esp at holiday time... def the best way to go.

no problem. plus you get double battery life... i never carry backup hd when i travel or put a computer in check-in.

I travel since years with pc & mac laptops + external harddrives + graphic tabletts. never had a problem even though my technical stuff weights usually more than my suitcase.

You might want to consider keeping the laptop bag under the seat in front of you. Having one laptop on top of another one can be problematic when you go through turbulences. Put something in between both of them if they really have to go next to eachother.

not quite 2 laptops in one, but will airlines allow me to bring

1. carry-on bag

2. notebook computer bag

3. camera bag

onboard the flight as hand carry?

airlines allow 1 carry on bag, and 1 smaller bag that can be stowed under your seat.

if your camera bag isnt too big, it shouldnt be a problem...
