Evisu store in Soho not happening

i think once BiG sells some, and people start seeing the quality side of evisu, they will have a better time with their own store. now i think they wouldnt be able to sell much but the popular shit you already see on ebay...

I've been wondering about their financial standing as of late. Nevermind then. And.....Well...I thought they were established in the U.S.....maybe the fakes and none japanese versions ... I guess they're going for quality now, as evidenced by the improved heritage line.

yeah... they want to have the heritage line known as quality... all japanese denim except for a pair they are using cone white oak selvage on.

poly, chad told me that they wanted to focus on wholesale first, and really establish themselves in the us before they open a retail space.

but... who knows the real reason.

Seems unlikely that they'd pay rent on a Soho storefront that long, only to change direction. Combined with some other things I've heard in passing about their financial situation, I speculate that it became cost-prohibitive for them to forge ahead once they realized how major the construction issues were on that lot.

That's pure speculation though, and I hope the best for them.
