Blake Lively, in character as Serena van der Woodsen, was handcuffed and arrested on set of Gossip Girl. She left the Russian Tea Room restaurant and was handcuffed by two (acting) New York Police officers before being driven away in a squad car.

Gossip Girl co-stars Chace Crawford and Leighton Meester, as Blair and Nate, ran from the restaurant and watched as she driven away. What do you think happened?!

Gossip Girl Spinoff May Cross Paths with The OC

The Gossip Girl spinoff may be a little East meets West, CW style.

As if exploring Lily van der Woodsen's roots via a Gossip Girl spin-off wasn't enough, Josh Schwartz may revisit an old TV family tree for his new pilot - namely, he might shake the branches of his previous teen drama, The OC.

Schwartz and co-creator Stephanie Savage are "toying with the idea" of having young Lily (to be played by American Dreams girl Brittany Snow) interact with teen versions of The OC's Kirsten Nichol and Jimmy Cooper, EW reports.
