Denim in Shanghai

Hey ! Am I the only one is SHanghai frustrated with the denim ?

Where can I buy decent denim ?

Dior Homme is shithole here : dirty, salespersons are absolutely useless and don`t know shit about products, and they don`t carry that much denim (no raw !)

IT in Xintiandi, which seems the best Select shop, but which just carries a few styles of each brands....APC, they don`t even have denim.....Dior, they just have MIJ Raw Indigo 19cm....

Source in XInle Lu, which has Ksubi, Cheap Monday.....but it is not my style there, too streetwear, but nice place though....fucking expensive as well.

Anywhere elase, except all the fakes of changle/shaanxi/xinle lu ?

It is quite shit, but you still can find real Japanese clothes from United Arrows, Beams, Ships, Takeo Kikuchi, Nicole.....for 50% less than in Japan. And I hate buying clothes without trying them.

It is true Uniqlo carries good stuff, and I was more thne happy with the selvedge they released.

However, rejoyce, as the Japanese select shops are arriving soon here !! Cant wait !

I don't know of any select japanese shops coming, as every store I've been to that stocks "authentic" japanese clothing have a completely ridiculous mark up, I'm talking shit I find on yahoo auctions for 5000 yen costing 1800 rmb...

Joyce is in plaza 66 on nanjing xi road. 2nd floor.

It's a high end boutique that stocks n(n), rick owens, ann d, undercover etc et all. The mark up on everything is roughly 40% haha. The ro leather jackets in there are 25000 RMB ($3400) versus $2100~ from everywhere else.

It's a good place to try on stuff though.

Trust me, my GF father`s one of the boss of one famous Japanese select shop, it is coming pretty soon. Allright I will drop by Joyce of these days.

IT doe carry good stuff, selection is good, and there is regularly interesting price off. I bought my MCQ jeans at 30% off. But they do have a very very little stock...for MIJ they don`t have my size (33)
