scarf/stole/wrap thread

looking for something shemagh-like in shape, but without the ubiquitous pattern. i know the obvious ones (the henrik piggie scarf, etc. etc.) but does anyone know of some alternatives? something with a soft fabric, big, wrappable, and hopefully less expensive than the ones i'm looking at now. oh, and tassles, if possible.

crillz i think your cheapest and best bet would be to make one yourself. just buy some nice fabric, sew the edges closed if you want, add tassels, and whatever and you're done.

this fall/winter, i swear to god i am making a copy of the subversive jewelry chain-handled scarves that were available at bblessing last year.

H&M has really long (6ft-ish), wide (10' ish), non ubiquitously patterned scarfs out right now for dirt cheap. Basic black white with about a foot of pattern on either end.

Only problem is that you can't really wear in a shemagh-esque way. It's bulky if that's what you're going for though, and it's definitely wrappable. Wool so it's really warm, but sadly no tassles.

Just thought I'd throw it out there.

Also, there's always thrift shop scarfs. Sometimes they smell like cats and old people, but for a dollar it's totally worth it.

cosign on h&m and ebay, they have tons of those. i cant bring myself to spend more than 50€ on something that simple, i rather own a variety of cheap ones than a few expensive.
