Good Evening Gentlemen! I wanted to introduce the forum to the inventor of the crosswick crossover collar. ( design #6 on my website www.ericglennie.com ). I created the first crossover collar in 1994 and the crosswick collar has been seen in almost every formal menswear shop in the U.S. and perhaps around the world. I just wanted to let the menswear community know where this crossover style originated ( my basement). Please take a look at my website design#6 to view my patent. Here is an example of the crosswick crossover collar being sold in the formal wear stores today. When I designed this collar 13 years ago , there wasnt buttons or a huge cuff link keeping the collars together but rather hidden buttons for a cleaner look. thanks EG.

I see on the USPTO website that Eric Glennie has 6 patents for shirt collars...what's one of those cost to register...probably $5000-$10,000? The maintenance fees would keep adding up on those after they're registered too...

Patents are expensive, but an unneccessay evil because there is always someone out there to knock me off.
