Hoping this right section to drop this in,Im making trip out to NY end next week and I got my eye on 2 cdg shirts just wondering how much in generally cdg shirt line retails for in NY the wool plaids im after retail at £200 in dsm.

they have some cdg stuff at Nom but its pretty pricey i think and they stock the back packs at odin not great looking but a better price then say headporter

sorry i dont foolishly on the countless occasions ive tried said shirts on in dsm ive not taken a snap, its quite a tight plaid one is in red/black with a thin yellow line within the other i think is like a dark green and purple combo,oth are beautiful perfect fitting,ive litterally had to drag myself away from them.

I went to the CdG store today. They had the dark green one, very dark plaid I think it's the same one you're describing. It was $610. That was the only wool plaid they had and the lady told me they never had any others.

could anyone who owns a Comme des Garcons Play polo comment on the sizing/fitting? would it be categorized as typical small fitting japanese clothes? just want to make sure if i buy a size L it wont be too big on me.

610$woah amazingly thats nearly double uk price!ummm well il have to scratch that off my list i think.im still gotta go see the store though1and its near gallery i got to go to aswell thanks for checking it out much appreciated

Definitely check it out, it's a very cool store and people who work there are very nice. There are few galleries on the same street but they don't open very early so go in the late afternoon.

CDG play is slim fitted but not ridiculously slim cut like lad musician, hare, or wjk.

For example, Hare's large is equivalent of american s-medium.

I wear S in CDG homme plus and homme. CDG play = M or L. Since polos shrink a bit, I did buy a large. Medium fits me quite well when it's brand new out of the bag but once i wash it, it's too slim.

I'd say it's got a boxy cut. The length is pretty short.

Personally I find Lyle and Scott and CDG polos to be the best fitting (more so than made-in-uk fred perry).

I'm totally gay for CDG so my opinion is obvioiusly biased.
