I gave my friend my Imperial Shearer's since I no longer wore them as much. It also had to do with the fact that I couldn't handle seeing him wear his 2% spandex "jeans."

We both just got done doing a beach soak.

Imperial Shearer's

God knows how long.

1 wash.

1 beach soak.

Second beach soak.

Work worn: 16 times

Nonchalant worn: 3 times

further proof that if you really do hard labor in raw denim the effects are noticable very quickly. less than 20 days on the job and the fading is intense to say the least. it aint rocket science...my denime and fc had about 30 good hard work days each and they were ''fully faded'' in no time. note the heavy thigh fade on both of these pairs. might seem unnatural, but it's perfectly normal according to the work he's done. he obviously has a lot scraping his thights, and the whiskers haven't had time to 'catch up' . great pairs my dude...indigo busters unite!

oh so he does indeed own a chainstitching machine and in the post you linked, he has been experimenting with ways to get the perfect roping effect using a variety of different folding techniques. 3-fold technic vs 4-fold technique..

when I was staying in Taipei last year, i happened to live in the neighborhood of zk4025's shop Faith. I swear, every single time i walked by his store he was at his chainstitch machine stitching away, day and night.

lvc 1947 501xx (01/15/07) worn for 2 months this year.

approx.. 8 washes

prewash:

samurai 710xx (01/01/09) worn only for working around the house this year (roughly 6 wears)

2 washes (this doesnt compare to many of the previous 710's from other sufu'rs that have been posted)

i will be wearing this pair til the end of the year. so another evo next year.
