people who have them are in hong kong, the uk, and japan.

i have a sample pair, which doesnt even have the final tags on it.

I guess having too many houses is like having too many jeans. Maybe one house is just for jeans. Maybe you buy plus-sized mannequins that will wear your jeans all the time. Maybe their legs move to break them in a little. When you feel lonely, you go over to your jean house, get to your knees so you are on crotch level with all of that luxurious denim, and have conversation with the various pairs of jeans that make up your extensive collection.

speaking of Uniqlo... in the contest I noticed that you could only get an inseam of 32 or 34 I'm guessing that there isn't going to be anything longer then?

rome - when i got mine the waist sizes went as high as 40" but 34" is the longest leg they had on the racks.

not sure if there was a 30" leg, someone else may be able to confirm the min/max sizes though

omc, you said there will be a skinny and a slim selvedge available right? will there be a regular straight cut too?

can you clear the numbers up for me...I thought the skinny = s-000; slim = s-001; regular = s-002

as far as i know, there is a skinny fit selvage jean and a slim straight-- no true straight cut.

the s-000 is the skinny fit selvage

the s-002 is the slim straight selvage

i checked out uniqlo in HK - seems like only the S-000 skinny is selvage. i didn't see any of the S-002's w/ selvage. the 000's were about USD 50 - pretty nice price.
