only a few hardcore denim brands, but i suspect this is because you're having difficulties in procuring them. to satisfy the denim geeks, you should try to bring in some japanese stuff (denime, warehouse, full count, etc.,.). i'm also surprised you don't carry the LVC line (no access?).

with that said, that's a lot more denim than i would expect any shop to carry. if i were to live in dc, i'd go broke!!!

btw, the gortex stuff by edwin sounds interesting. i can definitely use that for this shitty new england weather. how's the cut?

I have more lines but I am a shitty typer so it takes me forever.

Landing the Japenes stuff is very hard but I am working on it.

LVC is killing me I think I will have it for Spring as well.

It's just so hard to get the Japanese lines. I lucked out with Sugarcane so I won't stop trying to get the others.

The edwin gortex jeans fits a little loose.

Chad some I am getting in very soon.

the difference between buzz and sugarcane isn't much. Same fabric same mill. However thier are small details like the back patch. I know there's a price difference LOL!

The selvage is different.

both are all natural indigo sulfur dyed.

I will post pick as soon as I get in my samples.

Julian red is on my hit list for sure.

How do you guys feel about salt work denim for men. I know it's not a uber denim but how do you think it will retail with the regular folk not the denim heads.

Hey Mauro,

Don't know if you remember me, but I got the Limited Edition Straight Svens from DenimBar a little over a month ago. Glad to see you're getting all these new lines. I will definitely be stopping by soon. When do you expect the Edwin, and Sugar Cane to be in? BTW is the Edwin rainbow selvage?

I am excited also.

The edwin selvage is different colors depending on the body style. I also picked up red ear which has Paul smith's color signature ( sick!)

I am gunning for Sugar cane ASAP! I find out tomorrow.

I am getting my lastest nudie batch this week sometime to!!!

How are your sven's treating you?

The Goretex Edwins are really well put together and at first look appear to be a well executed concept. However, the samples I saw don't look like they would sit well with boots, something you would think would be a given. There was even talk of wearing them for snowboarding, but I don't see how that would be possible unless you tucked them into your boots, which I can't see being a very popular look wih snowboarders.

teejayess they 're straight legs so tucking them into a boot shouldn't be a problem.

I know that they should be easy to tuck into boots, I'm just saying that most snowboarders won't want to do that.

Skiiers will love it though.
