all the reviews have convinced me to buy it

did you see all the restrictions they put out on it? you can only install the game a couple times. changing hardware counts as well. i was going to buy the game until I saw all of this. apparently they did the exact same thing for Steam versions except you can only log in to your account on 2 different computers :X

What kind of bullshit is this? So those people should create a game for your enjoynment for FREE? Blah! I don't want this topic to turn into a piracy flame war, but just think about it for a moment. There's a lot of people working on the games/movies/music and these projects have HUGE budgets.

You get paid to do whatever job you do, so they should get paid to do whatever job it is they do.

I've seen better arguments for piracy, much better...

We don't live in the 18th century anymore buddy, there are many people who take this shit seriously.. Without music there would be no clubbing, no parties, no excitement.. Without games there would be no creativity, no imagination..As Tiranis said, many musicians, they make up to at least 120,000 and thats not including sales yet..Artists who go platinum or triple platinum, their bankroll surpasses even that of a policemans.. Actors make huge budgets too..Matt Damon for example makes 1.2 million for every movie he's in then if movie sales are good, he makes profit off of the movies sales.. You're a moron

Why should game designers get paid less than doctors and teachers? like wtf is this? Ok doctors for one save lives, teachers indeed teach us and policeman reinforce, but regardless of that game designers should get paid just as much because they put in that time and effort into making great games..

Have you even stepped into a game company and experienced it? Have you ever sat down in front of a computer having your fuckin boss heckle you to make sure that your model is clean and ready to use? Like dude, you dont understand the whole concept behind gaming..You're just a shell with no concience.. If anything these designers have more creativity, more imagination than doctors.. They spend immense hours making sure that all the level designs are playable, all characters are movable ( do you even know how much shit goes into a character model?) lighting is accurate...like this shit isnt easy man.. Yea you may be one of the few who just sits around and PLAYS the game but doesnt understand the whole concept as to how it was created.. The history behind everything is important, even games. Without history there is no soul.. Id continue but it would be like another 2 paragraphs

uhhh okay. if anyone has turned this thread into a mess, it's you, with the name-calling and derailment. and yes, since something is available for free online means that I no longer have to purchase a physical copy, i DO have a reason for downloading... it's up to you whether or not it's ethical but that point has been argued to death ever since p2p was born, and it really isn't the topic of this thread. no matter how much you whine I'm still going to get this shit for free... and yeah, I'll be proud to admit it's almost the same as walking out of best buy with a copy tucked under my jacket.
