it's a sample,it is strange that u paid only 99$ but it is possible! sample are the jeans used in the showroom or used for pics on magazines etc. they are not well done like the ones u can find in the stores (for example the tag says 32 but it's a 33 ore the seams are not really good or they could have some little fault) but they are always evisu!

sorry if my english isn't perfect..i'm italian..

Did you buy these at an Evisu sample sale or one of those "designer denim sample sales" in Soho? I think that's the clarification needed in this thread. If you bought them at an Evisu sample sale, they are probably real. If you bought them at non-Evisu sponsored sample sale, I think we all know the answer...

Well really thugh why in the world would you ask is an official Evisu sample sale selling fake Evisu ?

BTW what size are you deluxe ? I need a pair

I assume that he was actually questioning if it was an official evisu sale at all. He should've just done a legit check for the pair that he purchased.

Precisely my point. Which is why I'm skeptical of the backlash he received.

Thanks for the neg rep england. How kind of you. And thanks for this lovely response in the neg box.

Such a fine specimen of humanity, eh? We should all strive to reach the same pinnacle.

The funniest part is that I didn't even leave you negative rep yesterday.

You definitely have one now.

I have gotten a majority of my Evisu's from a sample sale here in NY. But I was just wondering if they sell fakes in there with the real one's? The last sale I bought these:

http://www.evisu.com/shop/product.php?productid=169&cat=5&page=1

for $99....................

just when i was about to make a very condescending post, i realized he said 'a' sample sale, not an 'official evisu' sample sale. no dis required. this is clearly a worthy question to be answered by one with knowledge, not sarcasm

OK... i just saw this thread, and you all laugh, but get this shit.

i bought a pair of evisu's from an evisu sample sale (officially put on by evisu!) about 2 years ago. wore them around a bit, but they were too fucking big, so i put them on ebay.

the next thing i know - it was pulled by the trademark holder as being COUNTERFEIT! mutherfuckers. I've been going back and forth with evisu customer service for the past month or so now arguing my case.

finally they requested me to send them my full contact details as well as detailed pictures of the jeans. i fully complied and haven't heard from them since - its been over 2 weeks.

if they truly were counterfeit, then i have requested a full reimbursement of the original price i had paid...

i'm still pissed off about this. what a bunch of numb nuts - that they don't even recognize an authentic pair of their own shit?

Wow, that sucks. I've actually gone through the process of trying to get them to verify if a certain pair was authentic, since they actually recommend that you ask first, and their response was:

"Buy evisus from an verified retailer".

Wow, thanks evisu reps. I would've never considered that if not for your sage like advice.

On another note, I've received several more lovely negatives for my post here. Oh, and I'm certain of who the authors are this time around.

Here's the inspiring one from findmybetterhalf:

And a simple one from toufu:

Keep up the good work guys!!!

And I can't comment on the hurtful one by cheep......Oh, well.

Also, on the subject of banned auctions, Ebay won't make any real effort to delete counterfeit auctions ( even when reported), since they profit of their success ..... A commendable job on their part as well.

I was about to say the exact same thing until I looked at the title which says "Evisu Sample Sale blah blah blah" If he didn't buy it from an official Evisu sample sale then I guess he just needs to be more careful with his words
